La Torre Golf Apartment

Welcome to our Facebook page detailing our fabulous apartment on the La Torre Golf Resort near Roldan in Murcia, Southern Spain.

Our ground floor apartment is ideal for families or golfers and is just 30 yards from the swimming pool and overlooks the beautifully maintained golf course.

The apartment has two bedrooms and both can be set up as either twin rooms with two single beds, or double rooms with 1 super king bed. Both have ample fitted wardrobe space for clothing and storage. Both rooms have ceiling fans to maintain a pleasant temperature during the summer months, and heating for during the milder winter months - not that it is often required as the climate is lovely all year round!

The lounge is air conditioned and has two cream leather reclining settees, a 32" flat screen TV with English channels, a DVD player and assorted DVDs, board games and various books.

The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, hob, microwave, large fridge freezer, washing machine, kettle, and of course pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.

The bathroom is modern and attractive with large sink, toilet, and bath with powerful shower over it.

Outside is a large 'L' shaped terrace / patio area with a dining table and chairs, and armchairs with coffee table. The terrace overlooks the golf course and leads to the private garden which has sun loungers.

The pool is accessible from the terrace via the beautifully maintained communal garden and is about 30 yards away - close enough to be very convenient, and far enough away to be nice and quiet :-)

The apartment is located on the La Torre Golf Resort near Roldan. The resort boasts several restaurants and shops, the Club House cafe and bar which is open to everyone, a handful of other bars, and an ice cream parlour, all situated around a huge lagoon in the town centre. There is also a very convenient supermarket near the town centre with a superb range of items.

The resort is located just 15 minutes drive from Murcia Airport with direct flights from many UK airports, and transport between the airport and the resort can be arranged very cheaply. The resort is also 15 minutes from the beautiful and historic cities of Cartagena and Murcia and about half an hour from La Manga. We are also just 15 minutes away from the 'Mar Menor' which is the largest salt water lagoon in Europe and has stunning beaches. It is perfect for families as the water is very shallow and has virtually no current.

The Murcia region is situated on the 'Costa Calida' (warm coast) and enjoys year round sunshine and pleasant temperatures.

Prices for 2013/14:

Jan / Feb - £200 per week
June / July / August - £300 per week
All other months - £250 per week
End of rental cleaning charge - £50 (payable locally)
