Located in the natural park of Los Alcornocales, in Cádiz, Wakana has 180,000 hectares of Nature and Peace. Its history dates from 20 centuries BC, at the very beginning of the Neolithic, as you will be able to see in the painted caves (Tajo de las Figuras) and the dolmens that tell us stories about our ancestors.
Due to it´s perfect layout, Wakana evokes a temple dedicated to fertility and nature. At the foot of these caves there is a set of Funerary structures where Phoenician remains rest, who traded in these lands with Greeks and Tartessians! The last and most mysterious of the ancient civilizations that has inspired so many stories and whose capital Atlantis could have been sitting on a fluvial island that the researcher Alberto Porlan places precisely here.
