Translational Research in Respiratory Medicine

The Translational Research in Respiratory Medicine Group (TRRM) consists of basic, clinical and epidemiological researchers, who work at the Institut de Recerca Biomèdica de Lleida (IRB Lleida), collaborating center of the University of Lleida. The principal investigator of the group of Respiratory Medicine is Ferran Barbé Illa on the IRB Lleida, being the coordinator of the group Manuel Sánchez de la Torre. The TRRM group of the IRB Lleida is attached, since 2008, to the Centro de Investigación en Red de Enfermedades Respiratorias (CIBERes) platform, constituting the Group 35. Currently, the Group 35 is one of the leading exponents of Spanish Sleep Network of the Sociedad Española de Neumología (SEPAR).
