The Torre de Cristal is a skyscraper in the Cuatro Torres Business Area in Madrid, Spain, completed in 2008. With a final height of 249 metres, it ranks as the tallest building in Spain surpassing neighbouring Torre Caja Madrid by only one metre. In April 2007, its structure surpassed the height of neighbouring Torre Espacio, since then becoming the tallest building and structure in Spain and the fourth in the European Union.It was designed by Cesar Pelli and it was built by Dragados.
