The Nasty Peaches

The Nasty Peaches nascem no início do ano de 2017 com o reencontro de três membros dos ex-Alfaiate Nú (Daniel Costa - bateria, Tiago Magalhães - Guitarra, Rui Afonso - Guitarra), que começam por procurar mais alguns músicos para completar a formação.
Durante algum tempo passam nomes conhecidos da cidade Invicta pelo estúdio e...............!!!
Ensaio após ensaio, reunião após reunião tornam-se parte da família Edgar Carvalho (baixo) e Nuno Monteiro (voz).
Juntam-se as influências musicais de todos eles, metem-se as mãos ao trabalho e nasce este projeto inicial de tributo ao Rock, mas mantendo sempre o foco em fazerem a sua própria música.
Esta formação já conta com alguns anos de estrada acumulados, com diferentes projetos, que trouxeram um espírito renovado aos The Nasty Peaches.
As influências da banda estão compreendidas entre o Rock, Hard Rock e Blues, e o nome The Nasty Peaches surge dum trocadilho entre (peach e pitch) num "brainstorm" depois de uma noite de ensaio!!
A partir daqui reunem-se as condições para dar o melhor uso a todo o esforço já imputado ao projeto e é hora de avançar para o que mais anseiam….. fazerem-se à estrada!!

The Nasty Peaches are born at the beginning of the year 2017 when three members of the former Alfaiate Nú (Daniel Costa - Drums, Tiago Magalhães - Guitar, Rui Afonso - Guitar) meet again, and start searching some other musicians to complete the band.
For some time, well known names of Oporto musical scene pass by the band studio and ............... !!!
Rehearsal after rehearsal, meeting after meeting, Edgar Carvalho (bass) and Nuno Monteiro (vocals), became part of the family.
Putting together the musical influences of all members, they lay hands on work and this initial project of Rock tribute has born, but always keeping the focus on making their own music.
This crew already counts with some years on the road, with different projects, that brought a renewed spirit to The Nasty Peaches.
The influences of the band include Rock, Hard Rock and Blues, and the name The Nasty Peaches comes from a pun between (peach e pitch) on a “brainstorming” after a rehearsal night!!
From now on the conditions are in place to give the best use to all the effort already undertaken to the project and is time to do what they most crave..... hit the road!!
