The House at Tormos

Hello and welcome. We are Michael and Graham and after working for forty years in the hotel and leisure industry we knew it was time to find our own perfect boutique property that we can call home and offer quality Bed and Breakfast hospitality for our guests. Supper club 2 nights a week 7-10pm & Sunday lunch is served 12-4pm. All parties catered for including weddings. We have many years in events and catering and are happy to design and take care of your perfect party.

After a long search, far and wide, and to our delight we found The House @ Tormos. It is a traditional old Spanish village house, lovingly restored and a superb example of what can be achieved through determination and by meticulous attention to detail. We have been collectors of our treasures from around the world for many years and The House @ Tormos is the perfect setting for our fine furniture and art. We believe our guests will be delighted by the décor and ambience of our new home.

Tormos is a typical rural Spanish village with easy access to the fantastic mountain walks, views over the valley, cycling and climbing routes. The nearest town is Orba where there are bars, restaurants and shops although one need go no further than Tormos itself for local restaurants. The village nestles at the foot of the mountains with orange groves and almond trees across the valley as far as the eye can see. Spring brings the ripened oranges and the beautiful almond blossom - it is a glorious sight to see.
Beaches and the amazing city of Denia is only 15 minutes away and the fabulous Javea, a personal favourite of Michael's, is the next seaside resort just to the south. Then south again a few kilometres there is Moraira then Calpe. Orba valley is not visited for great nightlife, rather it is a quiet place where you can rest and unwind from everyday life. It is the very reason Michael and Graham decided it was for them but should you fancy a few nights partying, the nightlife of any of the resorts we recommend awaits you. Benidorm is just 40 minutes away which needs no explanation. Just pop onto the Lemon express train and it takes you right there. Alternatively, head north to Valencia which is a fabulous city to visit for sightseeing, culture, eating out and shopping.
The local Tormos swimming pool is open in the summer months. Public transport is available but a car is preferable if you intend to make full use of exploring this wonderful part of the Costa Blanca. But if you just want to relax, take the sun, eat great food and drink lovely wines The House @ Tormos awaits you.
