The Grand Debate

The Grand Debate is a single day event hosted by The Literary Club of FAST-NU on 12th October, 2017.
The timings for the event will be 8 am- 4 pm.
Transportation, Lunch and debate related material shall be provided by the organizers.

The Grand Debate offers national level simulation of committees like National Counter Terrorism Authority, Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, and Standing Committee for Information Technology and Telecommunication. Each committee will have a topic under discussion, which will be uploaded on the page. Every participant (delegate) will be assigned a federal political party like PPP, PTI e.t.c and they would be required to serve as the representatives of the assigned party.
Grand Debate shall be using Model United Nations’ Rules and Procedures during the sessions.
The event will be bilingual in nature which technically means that all speeches can be made in either English or Urdu.
Commitment fee per delegate is 300 RS. A delegation of 6 students will get registered in 1800 RS.
