Tenerife Rambler Guided Walking

My name is Gary and I live in the hills of south of Tenerife, having relocated here in 2008 from the UK having fallen in love with the island, it's landscapes and the fantastic hiking opportunities to be found.

I have many years experience of walking in hill and mountain country and have taken part in challenge walks, wild camping trips in the Scottish Highlands and multi-day hikes such as a 190 mile, solo traverse of the Coast to Coast walk, the Southern Upland Way, the Pennine Way and the Cape Wrath Trail.

When in the UK, I was a member of the Ramblers Association and in addition to editing my local groups newsletter, regularly led walks both locally and in some of the more 'classic' walking areas such as the Lake District and the Peak District, among others.

Since living here in Tenerife, I have compiled a comprehensive list of routes in most parts of the island. These range in diversity from barren volcanic landscapes, lush pine and laurel forests, mountains summits, spectacular ravines and the majestic Teide National Park.
