Superb central location, 10 mins drive from airport (taxis at present 8-10 euros).Across the road, is a superb promenade, leading either east or west, superb for walks, cycling, running or fishing off!! Supermarkets, shops, restaurants, beach, promenade, banks, car hire, etc, all within 5-10 mins flat walk! Diving school, waterspouts, jet ski hire, dolphin watching, fishing trips, available at local beach.Championship golf course, shopping male, 3-D cinema, ten pin bowling-a free bus ride away! Crazy golf, 2 mins walk along the promenade. Open market, 2 times a week.

Information on Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura, is the second largest canary island, located of the west coast of Africa, 50 miles from the Sahara desert. It enjoys a climate similar to that of Mexico and Florida, being situated at a similar latitude, therefore enjoying year round sunshine, yet with a refreshing wind, which makes it a more pleasant temperature to enjoy. It is a volcanic island, with 150 of the most beautiful beaches of the canaries to explore, including many undeveloped ones. it is the 'less discovered' of the canaries, in my opinion, 30 years behind the likes of Lanzarote, yet up and coming, with ferry routes to Lanzarote, Lobos (small island between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote), Gran Canaria and Palma as well as a new route due to open to Morocco (due December!). Down south, in Solavento, the world windsurfing championships take place every year, as do 200 mile,round the island kayak races.

Caleta de Fuste is well-situated half way down the east coast of the island, south of the airport, making it a great location to explore both the north and south of the island. Hiring a car is very easy (round the corner), reasonably priced and a sheer joy on the good quality, quiet roads of the island. Visit one of the many gorgeous beaches, the Zoo and tropical gardens, waterpark or sand dunes of Corrajeco up north, whiite sand beaches of the Jandia down south! Great fun!

Booking Details

Price is £250 per week, all year round, £35 per night. Discounts for longer bookings of three weeks or more can be given.

Deposit is £50 per week, plus £50 refundable deposit (returned within 2 weeks of return/keys being posted back).
Balance due 10 weeks before date if departure.

Flights/transfers information

There are several airlines who regularly fly out to directly to Fuerteventura (one airport only), including Easyjet (more flights outside of July/August), Monarch Airlines, Ryanair, etc.

Taxis are easy to hire just outside the front of the airport exit, and at present, the 10 min journey costs around 8-10 euros each way.

Car hire is available both at the airport and locally if required, although everything is literally with minutes walk!
