Sol Montana

Located on the southern slopes of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range, tiny village of Mancor de la Vall is a perfect place for those that seek a little peace and quiet, away from hustle and bustle of towns and cities. Surrounded by olive, orange and fig groves, dotted with sheep slowly grazing in the sun, the landscape doesn’t get any more idyllic than that.
Half an hour drive from the airport, Palma old town and beautiful beaches of the North of Mallorca, Sol Montana sits in tranquil valley overlooking Mancor.

Our Finca will make your time spent in the countryside really enjoyable. If you’re into hiking, cycling or long walks, there is plenty of trails to choose from in the area. It’s a lovely place to be if you would like to experience the true Mallorcan way of life.

Sol Montana is recently renovated. While we were trying to capture the essence of the island in the rustic style of the house, we equipped it with modern comforts, such as air-conditioning/ heating, wifi, Kaleidescape movie/music library. Decorated in neutral colors, with wooden oak flooring throughout the house and Emperador marble in all bathrooms, will please your aesthetic needs.
It consist of 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms (3 of which are en-suite) large salon/dining room with fire place, relaxing TV room, large, fully equipped kitchen.
West facing roofed terrace is a wonderful space to enjoy al fresco dining or those long, warm summer evenings.
On the southern side of the house we have a swimming pool that was build with children in mind. It has three shallow levels where the little ones can get accustomed to water and main part is 1.40 m deep.

On the northern side of the house just off the kitchen side there is a BBQ area with gas BBQ.

The Neighbourhood

Mancor de la Vall is a peaceful village set a the foot of the Tramuntana mountains and it's walking tracks, located between Alaro and Selva and 5 mins drive from Inca. The town enjoys a new brand new tennis court, skate park and children's playground and there are multiple restaurant options in all surrounding Villages. Finca Sol Montana is a casual 15min walk to the Village through the fields on a Country road and overlooks the village from across the valley. We are 35mins from Palma airport and Palma city center and port, 40mins drive to the Southern beach resorts and just 30mins up to the beautiful beaches in the North.

Getting Around

There is a regular bus service to Inca and train service to Palma and Manacor, however it is recommended to take advantage of the cheap carhire service on the Island to make travel easy and allow access to all the amazing places to see around the island.
