In the island of Puerto Rico a “SIPI” refers to a small sip of liquid, usually to refresh yourself or to try something new. With that said in SIPI we invite you to try and experience something new and refreshing in the world of skateboarding.

SIPI SKATEBOARDS

In SIPI, our skateboards are 100% hand crafted from solid wood. The cuts, the refinement of the wood, and the graphics are elements that vary from board to board, making each a unique work of art with its own personality.

Inspired by art, surfing, skateboarding, Barcelona, California & Puerto Rican culture, SIPI, emerges from water just like skateboarding emerges from the surf culture. Influenced by this source, the design is based on the old school surfboards from California and the first skateboards that were made from solid wood.

The art on the boards is chosen depending on the wood types and shapes. It’s through the graphic art that the soul of the boards is revealed. Sometimes reminiscing popular Puerto Rican sayings, California roots or skulls and bones, the art is always true to the skateboarding and surfing culture.
