Rosalina Photography

I bought my very first DSLR camera because my colleague offered me one for a good price.
I had no clue what I could do with that beast of a camera, but I was curious…
I made (and still make) pictures left, right and centre and searched the whole internet for information…
I saw hours and hours of Youtube tutorials and very soon… a new passion was born!
There and then I noticed that I enjoyed the most to photograph people and families.
Photos of the real, authentic everyday life of families.
With me there is no need to colour coordinate your clothes, practicing your smiles or fight over who will be in front in the practiced family portrait. I would like for families to just BE... Be themselves in their own environment. I love to come along and journal the story of families living their precious everyday life with the people they love the most in the world.
Now I have told about the camera and my photography style, maybe it is time to introduce myself…
My name is Jany (no not Rosalina, that’s my second name) and I am a mother of 2 young girls.
My husband, the girls and I live close to Barcelona where we enjoy life to the fullest.

My youngest daughter got diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2 and we just passed the acceptance stage. She is our sunshine and she is teaching us so much! One of the most important lessons she teaches us by just being her, is that it doesn’t matter where you are from, how much you studied and which career you have... You should be happy with just the way you are. We learned to enjoy the smallest things in raising her, often taken for granted in ´Neuro- Typical´ children when the milestones are reached.

Through my photos I would like for you to stand still at the little joys in raising a child either neuro-typical or with special needs.
