Welcome to the Maison de la Congregation Gite in Louvie-Juzon!

Maison de la Congregation is a 200 year old traditional Bearnaise house at the foot of the western French Pyrenees. The house can accommodate 12-14 guests in 7 bedrooms.

Situated in the heart of the village of Louvie-Juzon in the Vallee d'Ossau, the gite gives you access to the beautiful mountains in the Pyrenees National Park, as well as being close to the historic towns of Pau to the north, Lourdes to the east and Oloron and the Vallee d'Aspe in the west.

The area offers fantastic sporting opportunities such as hiking, road cycling, mountain biking, canyoning, white water rafting and horse-riding. For those wishing to relax, the area is rich in places for sight-seeing and visits. Pau and Lourdes are no more than 45 minutes drive away. The local Jurancon vineyards will be of interest to wine fans, whilst the local area has many easily accessible places in the mountains and valleys for leisurely strolls, picnics and paddling.

The house has been lovingly renovated over the last six years, boasting wooden and stone floors, oak beams, stone walls and a massive Bearnise fireplace. It has a large private walled garden to play in, and a terrace covered with vines and wisteria to dine under on warm evenings. Accommodating 12 - 14 persons, it is the perfect place for families to share a wonderful holiday together.
