Nordest Cycles

(EN) We started our journey in 2016 creating the NORDEST Cycles brand and developing our first model. The brand's identity is inspired by the wild region of "Tras-os-Montes", in the north-east of Portugal. Our head badge symbolizes a "Careto", a traditional element of the transmontane Carnival. The Northeast region is the land from where the family of Jerónimo comes, He's the ideologue of the project and in this way pays homage to its origins.
Our products are designed in the Canary Islands, where the orography and the mild climate allow the development and test of bicycles in any of its modalities all year round.
We build the frames in an advanced factory located in Taiwan, using CrMo 4130 steel and Ti3Al2.5V titanium. Our technician assembles bicycles in Spain, using aluminium and carbon components from leading brands as reliable as Thomsom, Cane Creek, Shimano, FOX, etc.
NORDEST Cycles exists thanks to the effort of a small multidisciplinary team driven by Jerónimo, designer of titanium frames that has been making custom-designed frames for a decade under the name of Jerónimo Cycles.
(ES) Año 2016, comenzamos nuestra andadura creando la marca NORDEST Cycles y desarrollando nuestro primer modelo. La identidad de la marca está inspirada en la agreste región de "Tras-os-Montes", al Nordeste de Portugal. El emblema simboliza un "Careto", elemento característico del tradicional Carnaval trasmontano. La región del Nordeste es la tierra de donde proviene la familia de Jerónimo, impulsor del proyecto que de esta manera rinde homenaje a sus orígenes.
Nuestros productos se diseñan en las Islas Canarias, donde la orografía y el suave clima permiten el desarrollo y testeo de las bicicletas en cualquiera de sus modalidades durante todo el año.
Construimos los cuadros en una avanzada factoría situada en Taiwan, usando acero CrMo 4130 y titanio Ti3Al2.5V. Nuestro técnico realiza artesanalmente el ensamblaje de las bicicletas en España, usando componentes de aluminio y carbono provenientes de primeras marcas tan fiables como Thomsom, Cane Creek, Shimano, FOX, etc.
NORDEST Cycles existe gracias al esfuerzo de un pequeño equipo multidisciplinar guiado por Jerónimo, diseñador de cuadros de titanio que se proyectan a medida desde hace una década bajo el nombre de Jerónimo Cycles.
