More about Mojacar

Stunning 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Townhouse with direct access to the gardens and communal pool. The property is located in the heart of Mojacar within close proximity to the beach, bars, restaurants and local amenities. It is situated in a no through road which makes it a very quiet and tranquil place to be.

The property has a spacious open plan living/dining area with a sofa bed, television, wood burner and air conditioning. From the dining area there is an archway to the kitchen which is fully and well equipped. Also on the ground floor is a shower room which is easily accessible for washing off after the pool. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms; one of the bedrooms has a double bed, whilst the other has twin
beds and private access to a sunny terrace with stunning views of the mountains. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes and air conditioning. Additionally there is a third internal room with a double sofa bed however due to the Spanish law this cannot be rented or advertised as a bedroom. There is also a large bathroom upstairs with a bath/shower.

To the front of the property is a south west facing, picturesque terrace overlooking the well maintained gardens leading to the gated communal pool.

Mojacar is an all round great place for a holiday. Costa Almeria is known to be the hottest, driest region in Spain and has has more than 3000 hours of sun per year with only an average rainfall of 200mm per year. The average yearly temperature is around 20 °C and winter is normally mild. Mojácar is classified as being in the 11 climate zone (the highest climate zone) that means the temperature in Mojácar is never lower than 4 °C.

Mojacar Playa has become a tourist destination for its beautiful charm, its sandy beaches that stretch for 9km. The area is vibrant yet far from brash, with plenty shops, markets, restaurants, clubs and bars to choose from. In addition to the Playa, there is also Mojacar Pueblo which is an old, beautiful, elevated mountain town displaying unique architecture. The buildings are traditionally white which look like sugar cubes on the hillside from afar. It is a truly wonderful spot to enjoy a stroll down the cobbled streets, visit the boutique shops or enjoy a glass of wine whilst absorbing the view.

With the weather being good all year round it is also a great place for sporting activities such as golf, tennis and cycling and even skiing a couple of ours drive away in Sierra Nevada.
