Platero & Co

Platero & Co is a charming restaurant situated in the old town of Gaucin, a historic "pueblo blanco" settled dramatically in the Serranía de Ronda overlooking the Mediterranean coast and the Genal and Guadiaro valleys and surrounded by mountains covered with forests abundant with chestnuts, cork oaks, cherry and almond trees and rosemary.

Our weekly changing menu has an Andalucian touch and offers a variety of local and seasonal produce from the market gardens of the Ronda mountain range, like its goats cheese, mushrooms, Iberian pork, organic wines, cherries and chestnuts.

The New Rustic Kitchen; where everything is prepared on the premises, with a mix of traditional and modern techniques, using local products well presented, sometimes with a twist, but never with too much fuss and where the dish is always recognizable as food.

We offer lunch and dinner for a maximum of 5 tables and have a capacity for 20 guests at a time; this is how we can offer you a personal service in friendly surroundings where you will feel at home.

Walk-ins welcome, reservations recommended.
