This beautiful luxury villa, completed in September 2014, is set in 10 acres of olive and almond groves in the heart of the Tuscany of Spain. Surrounded by picturesque villages and hills, this is the perfect retreat from modern life.
Sleeping up to 9 adults plus a cot, this villa provides flexible accommodation for all the family. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen/diner, double height sitting room with further dining area and 3 double bedrooms all with en-suite shower rooms and French doors leading to the pool area. Upstairs leads to the master bedroom with super kingsize bed, bath and shower en-suite and two French doors leading to a balcony affording stunning views across the valley to the National Park (Parc Natural Els Ports).
Outside there is a stone table for al fresco dining; a 10 metre pool with room for sun loungers and an outside shower; BBQ/outside kitchen area and the solar panels which provide all the electricity for the house ensuring that you are being as environmentally friendly as possible.
This is ideal for relaxation. If you fancy an easy walk, the converted disused railway line now called the Via Verde only a few hundred metres and provides flat walking and cycling. If you are would like something more adventurous there is cycle hire and tours; hiking; fishing in the River Ebre and horseback riding.
The villa is situated a 2kms from the lovely village of Cretas with 2 fantastic bakers; butchers; pharmacy; doctors; car mechanics; general stores and bars/restaurants. If you drive for 20 minutes, there is the medieval town of Valderobres with its castle, cathedral and many restaurants and cafes.
This is the most unspoilt part of Spain. Only 45 minutes from the coast, you are miles away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. Welcome to the real Spain!
