Welcome to Marbella Walkabouts!

Unique and personal small-group strolls around Marbella with local writer and long term resident of Marbella Town.

The idea to offer these tours came from my www.marbellainsideandout.com website which aims to showcase the more traditional and authentic side of Marbella. As I´ve been discovering the local neighbourhoods I thought there might be some other visitors to Marbella who, like me, enjoy exploring the behind the tourist scene of a place by going where the locals go - and so Marbella Walkabouts was born!

Since I do have my writing and other obligations - I can only take a tour if it's booked at least a week in advance

A FUN PRE-CHRISTMAS SHOPPING OUTING!

A taste of Spain & side-street restaurant tour (Monday-Weds & Friday): Coffee in the park (included), a stroll alround the lesser known side streets to pick up some unusual and reasonably priced gifts, a visit to the Food Market a chance to stock up on foodie goodies with sampling included at various specialist shops along the way (Extra Virgin Olive Oil, produce from Don Quixote's La Mancha , Iberian pork products)

Duration: 4 hours Distance covered: approx. 2km.

MARBELLA WALKABOUTS ARE PERFECT FOR YOU IF..

If like me, you like to explore and get the true feel of a place when you travel, then my Marbella Walkabouts are the pefect way for you to find your bearings around Marbella Town as you discover its different neighbourhoods, alternative (and reasonably priced) places to eat and shop and a "behind-the-tourist-scene" way of life that we locals enjoy - so that you can then revisit the places you have discovered along the way at your leisure.

As my intention is to give you a personalised and enjoyable experience, family/friend group tours are for 4-6 people maximum and are an ideal way for you to have a fun morning's outing with people you feel at ease with getting to know Marbella Town. .

We will be walking at a leisurely pace and I want you to have time to soak up the atmosphere, stop and take photos and have a refreshment break when you feel like it. My tours are not suitable for young children but I will be showing you places where the locals gather with their families of all ages so you can revisit with them at your leisure.

Meeting place to be confirmed on booking depending on whether you're staying in Marbella Town or coming by car.

For groups of 4-6 - I charge 25€ per person. I will be showing you round and acting as your personal bilingual companion and interpreter when needed. And bringing along my trusty trolley so you don´t have to carry anything!

Payment is at the beginning of the tour when we sit down to have our first get-to-know-eachother coffee. Thank you.
