MAGISTRAL KENNELS, our ancient Cortijo with its 1000 m² walling patio and boarding tract, is surrounded by acres and acres of pristine nature to be explored. During your pet's stay, your darling will enjoy a species-appropriate vacation under our dedicated care in an engaging family environment.

MAGISTRAL is welcoming your pet(s) for any short stay or extended period at a reasonable price. Detailed inquiries and appointments can be made by phone, reservations will be confirmed by email.
If you do not have email, we'll happily confirm by handshake!

We speak English, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, and Hebrew, and offer 25+ years of experience in handling small and large dog breeds, and most common pets. Ralf has a PhD in animal nutrition and Christina is skilled in behaviour training. Apart from that we really care about each guest and are dependable folks you can count on.

OUR SERVICES:

* We only accept vaccinated, disease-free dogs and cats. If there is any problem, our choice vet can take care of it prior to your pet's stay.

* We DO welcome puppies (after 3 months of age & vaccination) that are not house trained yet, or any pet in frail health due to old age, and will cater to their needs with special love and attention.

* We facilitate short-term admission in emergencies (24/7), and offer to our clients a prompt pick-up service and a professional transport box if needed.

* We grant long-term arrangements at special rates, whenever your busy schedule or any circumstance requires a sincere pet lodging option over an extended period of time.

* We can offer permanent foster care for the beloved pet of an aged or deceased person, or keep it with us until a new solution is found by the owner/ his family.

* We also welcome birds, rodents, snakes and other little friends, if they are in good health and an appropriate cage/hutch/terrarium is arranged beforehand.

PLEASE NOTE: We can't accept unvaccinated or aggressive dogs that pose an unpredictable threat to their fellow species and humans.


MAGISTRAL KENNELS' HEALTH POLICY:

In the best interest of every dog and owner we require proof of valid vaccination for, or prophylactic treatment of, as appropriate, the following:

1. Rabies
2. Booster vaccination - includes: distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvovirus and kennel cough (adenovirus 2 and parainfluenza)
3. Leishmaniosis (vaccination, or collar in combination with ExSpot, or Advantix)
4. Internal parasites (deworming)
5. Fleas and ticks

If your dog does not have protection from any of the above, or if you are not sure, we can arrange for an appointment with our choice vet at your earliest convenience. Just give us a call!
