I graduated from Newcastle University in 1979 with a bachelor of science, and
then graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in 1984 with
a Doctor of Chiropractic.
During my first 10 years of practise I became involved with the Whitley Warriors
Ice Hockey team and later the Newcastle Vipers.
During this time, I gave treatment to Kirsty Wade, the international 800 and 1500 metre runner and in 1989 and 1990 I went with the Great Britain Ice Hockey team to the world ice hockey championships in Sweden and Switzerland.
