La Peña Mountain Cabins (LPMC) is in Axarquía, Andalucia. Close to the traditional pueblo blanco of Comares, in the foothills of the Andalucian Sierras, LPMC is a 45 minute drive inland from Malaga airport.

This beautiful valley represents a chance to build your own eco cabin in a pristine rural location, and become part of our community. Building a cabin here will allow you to lead a practical, sustainable lifestyle and give you an unparalleled retreat far from the beaten track. It also provides a simple way of life that offers reduced stress, and greater affordability and pleasure.

There are 25 acres of unspoiled countryside here, with 10 parcelas set into the side of the valley. The location of each of these spots was carefully designated, then carved into the side of the valley. With the hillside falling away towards the Arroyo de la Morra, each parcela has stunning south facing views against the backdrop of the hills. These views are not only beautiful but practical, with each locale well-suited to any solar projects you may wish to install. The design process worked with the geography of the area, meaning that each parcela benefits from cooling breezes that blow down the valley, and plentiful shade from large native trees.
