La Casa de la Palmera

La Casa de La Palmera is a centuries old courtyard house, originally the village convent school. It still retains parts of its original charm but yet offers you the modern comforts of home. There are three bedrooms, one with a super king four poster bed and the others with king size beds. A fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, american style fridge freezer, induction hob and oven. The house has log fires, underfloor heating and air conditioning, a beautiful rambling private enclosed garden with plenty of areas to sit and a stunning swimming pool with views across the valley. It is only a view minutes walk from all local amenities.

Gaucín is an hour's drive from Gibralter Airport, 1 hour, 20 mins from Malaga. Local beaches are accessible in only 40 minutes by car from the village or why not swim at the local Genal River with it's beautiful picnic spot (one of our favourite locations!).

Gaucín is in an ideal location for sighteeing around Andalucia with various places to visit within easy reach by car. Ronda (45 mins), Gibralter (1hour), Jerez (1hr40mins), Tarifa (1hr15min) with ferry access to Morocco, Seville or Granada (2hr30min), Marbella & Puerto Banus (1hr), Estapona (45 mins). Of course you may be happy to just stay, relax and enjoy Gaucín and its stunning location!
