House in Joncet

Welcome to our holiday rental in Joncet, a pretty village on the RN116 in the foothills of the Pyrenees about 45 minutes from the city of Perpignan in the Pyrenees-Orientales department of France. The house sleeps 4-6. Nearest airports are Carcassone and Girona in Spain (both about 1 hour 45 minutes away), although there are flights to Perpignan at times. Check Ryanair schedules! Barcelona is also a possibility, although it's about a 3 hour drive.
The coast and beaches are about an hour's drive away and the mountains and ski resorts about 30 minutes. The river Tet is just about 50m away at the bottom of the valley, and can be heard as it flows toward the Mediterranean at Canet. It's a great centre for walking and hiking in the mountains. There are also plenty of historical places of interest.
