Happy Artists

Happy Artists is an exciting new group of international painters located along the Costa del Sol in Spain. Prior to the inception of the group, all 4 member artists had exhibited their work individually as well as within other art groups. Their work could be found in galleries, restaurants, bars, city buildings, churches, Casa de Culturas and various businesses that lie dotted along the beautiful coast of southern Spain. Additionally, they have all exhibited in various other European countries as well as in the United States of America. Although they come from various parts of the globe such as England, Norway or the USA, all 4 of these unique women have a history of living in Spain for the past 5-40 years. Through the years, while enjoying life on the sunny coast, living and breathing art and expressing themselves through their painting and drawing, their paths inevitably crossed. Friendship and support naturally ensued and they decided to create this close knit group. Their inspiration, approach and hands- on skills for creating their art is personal to each one of them. The result is a diversity of art that is both dynamic and intriguing, and thus lends itself well to group exhibitions as well as individual presentations. They chose the name "Happy Artists" because they wish to spread happiness and joy through their art. They encourage art to be fun and enjoyable for all. They have the collective belief that bringing art to everyone can help happiness blossom not only in Spain, but also throughout the world.
