RESUME

Graffopolis is an innovative concept to create synergies between the different countries of the European Union, place of understanding and harmony generator. In the beginning, Graffopolis originated as an outdoor museum, but soon moved to do much more as a result of the involvement of people grew into what it is today.

Graffopolis comes of an ideal, the culture has to reach all people, therefore all activities are carried out, revolve around this premise. Is achieved by means of murals all over the urban environment of action, getting embellish it and by virtual map that anyone can visit by going to the web platform created.

Through the example of Graffiti and Urban Art has succeeded in creating a network of young people who can reflect the artistic conscience of Europe. All these young European participants encourage active participation because of their creativity and artistic creation, are a clear example of people involved with the society around them, serving as role models.

Ease of continuity of the Project is because the natural possibilities and structural changes that the urban evironment allows are almost endless and allows easy adaptation. This make all participants of different countries able to adapt this project to their environment and go from being a Youth Initiative to a youth movement.


Speech and traveling exhibition that will travel the institutes as well as raise awareness of the work done by young European artists will bring closer students to their culture, their customs and their nation. Bringing them closer to a distant reality many times because of the distance we experience with the continent. This project is located in the Canary Islands, because of their geographical situation makes it necessary to be precursor of European integration.

Graffopolis born as a commitment to future generations to achieve cultural diversity that enriches Europe for the record before humanity, of an artistic legacy, superior to them.


RESUMEN

Graffopolis es un concepto innovador de generar sinergias entre los diferentes países de la Unión Europa, lugar de entendimiento y generador de armonía. En sus inicios, Graffopolis se originó como un Museo al aire libre, pero pronto pasó hacer mucho más, ya que fruto de la implicación de las personas creció convirtiéndose en lo que es hoy en día.

Graffopolis parte de un ideal, la cultura tiene que llegar a todas las personas, por ello todas las actividades que se llevan a cabo, giran en torno a esta premisa. Se consigue por medio de murales por todo el entorno urbano de acción, consiguiendo embellecerlo y por el mapa virtual que cualquier persona puede visitar dirigiéndose a la plataforma web creada.

Por medio de la muestra de Graffiti y Arte Urbano se ha conseguido crear una red de jóvenes que permite reflejar la Conciencia Artística de Europa. Todos estos jóvenes participantes europeos fomentan la participación activa, debido a que por su creatividad y su creación artística, son claro ejemplo de personas involucradas con la sociedad que les rodea, sirviendo como modelos a seguir.

La facilidad de continuidad del proyecto porque las posibilidades naturales y estructurales que permite el entorno urbano son casi infinitas y la fácil adaptación que permite, hacen que todos los participantes de los diferentes países puedan adaptarlo a su medio, pudiendo pasar de ser una Iniciativa Juvenil a un Movimiento Juvenil.

Las charlas y la exposición itinerante que recorrerá los institutos, además de dar a conocer el trabajo desarrollado por los jóvenes artistas europeos servirá para: acercar a los estudiantes su cultura; sus costumbres y su nación. Aproximándoles una realidad muchas veces distante por la lejanía que experimentamos con el continente. Este proyecto se desarrolla en la Islas Canarias, porque por su situación geográfica hacen necesario ser precursor de la integración europea.

Graffopolis nace como un compromiso de las nuevas generaciones para lograr una diversidad cultural que enriquezca a Europa, dejando constancia, ante la humanidad, de un legado artístico, superior a ellos.
