Volunteers who rubbed Gold Shape Extra Plus Firming Cream/Lotion on their waistline twice a day were able to reduce their waistline by an average of 2.99 cm. after 7 days.

A study was conducted by Dermscan Group, a renowned French Cosmetic Laboratory, on 20 volunteers who were massaged on their waistline with 175 g of cream once a week, and also rubbed the same area by themselves with 14 g of lotion, twice a day for the rest of the week. The results showed that the waistline around the navel, 5 cm. above, and 4 cm. below were reduced by an average of 5.88, 8.00 and 5.73 cm. respectively. Increasing the number of massages in the study to twice a week gave a bigger reduction of 6.68, 9.10 and 6.90 cm. respectively. Besides, the body weight was reduced by an average of 0.94 kg., and the body fat was reduced by 1%.

There was no irritation on the treated area. The blood tests, before and after the study, concluded that there was no indication of toxicity or adverse effects.

The efficacy of the product has been demonstrated in numerous trade exhibitions in many countries and in competitions for waistline reduction in Japan, Romania, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand.

In a separate study, massaging the waistline of volunteers with 200 g of lotion in one hour led to an average reduction of 5 cm.
Twenty-seven volunteers who had their waistlines massaged with 100 g of lotion for one hour each day for five consecutive days, reduced their waistlines by an average of 7.7 cm. (CMU Journal, 2005; Vol. 4[2] 175-181).

An independent clinical study, conducted by Dermscan Asia, showed a significant slimming effect around the waistline in the test subjects in just four weeks. Results showed an average reduction of 3.2 inches (8 cm). No skin irritation or adverse effects were detected. Blood tests showed no indication of toxicity.*

In the study, the test subjects were given a massage once a week on their waistline with one tube of cream (6.7 oz. / 175 g). They also applied two capfuls of lotion (1/2 oz. / 14g) on themselves on the same area in the morning and evening for the rest of the week. The results showed that the waistlines of all the test subjects were reduced by an average of 3.2 inches (8 cm). The study also showed that by increasing the number of massages to twice a week, the results were even greater.
