More about FuegoBlanco Bed & Breakfast

FuegoBlanco rural retreat, award winning and highly rated at Tripadvisor, is located in fabulous country inland from Malaga, between the rural white village of Alora and the dramatic gorge at El Chorro.

At our small rural guesthouse we try to be “green” and offer the personal touches and service of a small independent rural hotel; At the same time our accommodation with spacious lounges, terraces, pool and garden areas, ensures independence and privacy associated with a larger hotel.

FuegoBlanco guesthouse is just 30 minutes from Malaga airport, but is a world apart from the Costa del Sol. Here, you are surrounded by bird song, organic lemon and orange groves and olive trees.
Our own organic production

In 2009 about 400 trees were planted, another 500 trees were added later, and this today gives a fantastic little romantic lemon grove you can stroll around in. The garden also had room for 60 olive trees, and these were planted in 2014 and will within the next few years give Fuego Blanco its own olive oil. We also have an organic vegetable patch and our meals use home grown organic vegetables according to the season.

Where possible we provide breakfasts and meals using organic produce from our own gardens; a variety of vegetables, fruits, and oranges freshly squeezed from the trees (when in season). Lunches are available served by the pool or on the terraces in the garden. We have outdoor cooling systems to help make even the hottest days pleasant.
Beautiful Surroundings

At FuegoBlanco you can enjoy fantastic views and walk in the lemon and orange groves or down to the river. Relax by the swimming pool. Relax on one of the terraces. Sit in one of our gardens or snooze in one of our hammocks.

The Guadalhorce valley is a rich fertile area with birds, fish, terrapins and other wildlife. We do our best to care for the beautiful place we live. Where possible we use ecological soaps and cleaning products, recycling, solar power, and eco-friendly techniques to manage our eight acres of orchards and river bank. We are certified by the Spanish equivalent of the Soil Association, C.A.A.E (Comite Andaluz de Agricultura ecologica).

We look forward to welcoming you to FuegoBlanco and will do our best to give you an unforgettable holiday.

Kind regards,

Tina Skalander
