When Using Wi-Fi Make Sure The Router Is Not Too Far From The Box As That Can Also Affect Speeds A Lot but I Always Recommend Ethernet cable (cat 5) connection.
If It Is Too Far Using Power line Adapters is not recommend as these are unreliable.

If Nothing Is Working And You Get A Lot Of Script Errors This Means You Are Not Connected To The Internet

Boxes should use the cables they come with only and if need to returned it due to a fault like most businesses need it complete the way you received it before i will exchange it for a new one as i cannot send it back.
