ELI was founded in Tetouan, Morocco in March 1998 by both Mohammed Reda Charif, holder of a higher studies degree in business and management administration and Mr Thomas Read Spellings , an American English teacher.
The reason behind the foundation of such an institute was to improve the level of the English language in Tetouan through high quality English courses.
Ever since its creation ELI has set as an objective quality teaching of English through adopting the latest pioneer approaches in the field of ELT and through the use of the most recent technology and up-dated teaching materials. The selection of a highly qualified staff both Moroccan and native, based on proficiency and experience, has always been a major concern of ELI. In a relatively short time ELI has achieved a dramatic success. It has also become not only a leader but also an inspiration for other English language schools in Tetouan, thanks to our modern management style, quality ELT, serious hard work, fulfilment of learners needs and an ever flowing stream of innovation.
