A 16th Century Mill in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range deep in the heart of mysterious Andalucia.

The Mill is a self contained estancia with 15 beautiful en suite bedrooms. Within its walls we can create just about anything.

Our outside kitchen El Rincon de la Tia has its own wood fired oven …. For most of the year we can use this space for private dining, feasts, cocktail parties, musical evenings, as a flameco stage or simply a wonderful lunch or dinner al fresco. The menu, of course, is international.

We call it the Orangerie…,it is a glass structure in the middle of the grounds with its own fireplace. The Studio can be used for private dining, painting weeks, cooking weekends, as a yoga studio, a writers retreat, for business meetings, presentations, parties, massages, film nights, anything and everything we can dream up.

We also have a Moroccan Hammam steam room which is available to residents. We can fire it up for traditional steam teas. Pots of mint, delicious pastries, a most luxurious way to pass the time.

For those who like things a little more active we can arrange walks or riding in the Sierra with someone to tell you stories of the plants and flowers. We are also a great starting point for cycling tours and can send you on your way with a picnic and flasks of coffee.

From the foothills of the Alqueria you can be on the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada within an hour. The ski-ing world’s best kept secret. We can also whisk any petrolheads away for some Ferrari racing on the test circuit used by Formula 1 teams.

Or if you just want to while away the time looking beautiful in the rosy Andaluz light and hanging out with the horses, that's fine too. Manana por la manana...

At weekends, El Rincon will be serving brunch... bloody mary's, eggs every which way and lashings of easy like Sunday morning.
