It is only 10 minutes from the larger resort of Estepona and 20 minutes to the millionaires playground of Puerto Banus. The Blue Flag sandy beach is clean, well maintained and perfect for families including those with very young children. The Marina offers a great choice of bars and restaurants - sipping cocktails watching the yachts set sail or the local fishermen uploading the days catch, enjoying traditional Spanish tapas as the sun sets or tucking into your favourite Indian or Chinese meal. Puerto de la Duquesa offers something for everyone!

Further Details
Apartment is cleaned prior to arrival and after departure. Please bring your own towels for use by the poolside and beach. Baby cot can be hired for your stay.

Smoking is permitted only on the sun terrace.

Payment can be made by bank transfer or PayPal.

Bookings dates will be held for 72 hours to enable flights and car hire to be booked.

Deposit 25% of total balance.

Remaining balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure.

€ 150 refundable security deposit to be held until safe return of apartment.

If holiday is less than 8 weeks away at time of booking then full payment is required upon confirmation including the € 150 security deposit.

Minimum stay 4 nights

An extra charge of €30 will be made for cleaning the apartment.

Directions:

The closest airports are: Malaga (97 km) and Gibraltar (35 km).

We recommended that you rent a car as you will be more independant during your stay.

Drive time from Gibraltar is about 25mins and Malaga is about 50mins. From Malaga, follow Cadiz / Algeciras along the coast using the motorway A7 or the new AP7 (Autopista). From Gibraltar is using the same roads towards Estapona / Marbella.

The Duquesa Area

At the western end of the Costa del Sol is Puerto de la Duquesa, a beautiful marina nestled between 2 blue flag beaches Just 1 KM from San Luis de Sabinillas. Although much quieter and more family oriented than the nearby Puerto Banus and Sotogrande, there is still ample nightlife and local attractions to keep you busy.

The attractive promenades encircling the port offer a variety of restaurants, intimate bars and cafes in which to while away the days. The vast choice of eating and drinking options include French, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai and, of course, Spanish with its fresh, local fish. Numerous services and grocers are also at hand.

Duquesa Village is located in the hills overlooking the port with some stunning views of the coast and surrounding mountains. Whatever you want from a holiday, you can have it here. The Costa del Sol region

For the energetic, there are around 70 Costa del Sol golf courses on the "Costa del Golf" which can be played all year round as well as a whole range of other activities available such as sailing, scuba diving, horse riding, dolphin safaris, water parks, wildlife parks, etc. The list is endless. Or just soak up the sun on any of the award winning beaches.

Travelling from Malaga or Gibraltar along the Costa del Sol is easy using the coast road with its spectacular views or the faster toll road. Mix with the rich and famous in Marbella and Puerto Banus, visit the wonderful beach resorts of Fuengirola or Estapona or marvel at the spectacular Rock of Gibraltar although don't forget your passport!
