COVA SANTA

Se encuentra en el trayecto de la carretera que va de Ibiza a Sant Josep a la altura del km. 8. Ubicada en la ladera de la montaña, está inmersa en la frondosa campiña de vegetación mediterránea de pinos y sabinas, desde donde se puede divisar el horizonte de un maravilloso paisaje rural que ofrece la naturaleza autóctona de Ibiza.


HISTORIA – LEYENDA

El recinto de COVA SANTA crece alrededor de una cueva milenaria testigo del paso de varias civilizaciones y culturas que impregnaron de misticismo, magia, espiritualidad y energías cósmicas al lugar.
Se cuenta que desde piratas, a contrabandistas, hombres santos y nativos fueron los habitantes de este “rincón sagrado” en el pasado.
Descubierta en el S. XV, bendecida e inaugurada en 1957, la visita a sus grutas perteneció al circuito de lugares de interés turístico de Ibiza hasta principios de los 90´s.


HISTÓRICO GRUPO AMNESIA

Es en el año 2001 cuando el Grupo AMNESIA compra COVA SANTA, dejándose embriagar por la belleza del bucólico entorno y soñando con sus posibilidades.
Fue prioridad para el Grupo AMNESIA la conservación de la cueva y la mejora de su acceso, siempre con el asesoramiento de geólogos y técnicos, por lo que sus visitas son muy restrictivas.


RECINTO – INSTALACIONES

COVA SANTA es concebida como un espacio multidisciplinar desde donde estimular todos los sentidos.
En un entorno privilegiado de inigualable paisaje, con un amplio y cuidado espacio exterior donde encontramos exóticos jardines llenos de vegetación distribuidos en terrazas a varios niveles, además de la preciosa cueva.
Un amplio parking privado, amplios y equipados espacios para la restauración y la gastronomía, precioso y exótico mobiliario oriental y una sala de fiestas interior integran el recinto de COVA SANTA.

CUEVA

COVA SANTA es uno de los más valiosos tesoros naturales de las Pitiusas. Una cueva natural milenaria comparable a una maravillosa catedral natural de piedra, labrada por el agua a lo largo de milenios.
Su acceso es una fisura que se abre en la montaña dando lugar a una gruta por la que se accede a la gran cueva de más de 25 metros de profundidad, y a través de una escalinata se va descendiendo a un cada vez más increíble e inesperado espectáculo. Encontramos un paisaje de estalactitas y estalagmitas que han creado una génesis de formas fantásticas más propias de un maravilloso mundo imaginario que de la montaña que las alberga.

RESTAURANTE

En el restaurante-gourmet de Cova Santa la gastronomía se concibe como un arte y el exquisito servicio y atención al cliente como una ley.
VIP´s, celebrities y lo más chic de la sociedad se han sentado a la mesa de las mágicas cenas de COVA SANTA.
Su alta cocina de mercado estimula los paladares con la mejor materia prima.
Las carnes son traídas directamente de los Picos de Europa y los mariscos se mantienen vivos en viveros propios.
La bodega está ubicada en la cueva natural, que es un inmejorable entorno para la óptima conservación de los vinos. Ha sido creada y supervisada por los más prestigiosos enólogos de la isla, llegando a ser, posiblemente, la mejor bodega en Baleares.

DISCOTECA

Cova Santa también es una “sala de baile” que data de finales de los 60´s, con una visión que entiende la noche, la música y el baile desde un prisma atemporal.
Una forma de continuar la noche, después de la cena y las primeras copas, en un mismo espacio, disfrutando de buen ambiente, buen sonido…, sin necesidad de incómodos desplazamientos.
Rehabilitada y decorada con elegante mobiliario y materiales nobles, siempre respetando la originalidad de la construcción autóctona rural ibicenca, tiene un aire oriental-mediterráneo que genera un espacio de ensueño.
El equipo técnico del SÚPER CLUB AMNESIA ha sido el encargado de diseñar e instalar el mejor sonido e iluminación para esta discoteca.
Es una oferta diferente a los grandes clubs de la isla, ya que con una capacidad para aproximadamente 1000 personas, está concebida para congregar a la élite social que visita Ibiza durante los meses de verano.

FIESTAS OPEN AIR

A partir del verano 2013, y comenzando al aire libre en horario matinal y terminando en la discoteca al caer la noche, se han estrenado los eventos OPEN AIR en COVA SANTA con MUSIC ON (by Marco Carola and friends).
Contadísimas fechas con un gran poder de convocatoria y enorme repercusión entre los acontecimientos de Ibiza, han supuesto la revelación y la alternativa en mayúsculas. Un nuevo concepto en cuanto a fiesta, música electrónica, y extraordinario y perfecto espacio se refiere.

COVA SANTA is found at the 8th km on the road from Ibiza to Sant Josep, at the Sa Caleta turning. It’s located in the mountains and iimmersed in the lush countryside of the Mediterranean.

History

COVA SANTA grows around an ancient cave where different civilizations and cultures have grown with magical, spirituality and cosmic energy .
It is said that pirates, smugglers, and holy men "sacred spot" in the past.
Discovered in the 15th century, blessed and opened in 1957, the visit to its caves belongs to the circuit of tourist atraction of Ibiza until the early 90's.


Amnesia Group

It was in 2001 when the AMNESIA group buys COVA SANTA, deing intoxicated by the beauty of the incredible settings and dreaming about different possibilities.
It was the Amnesia Groups priority to conserve the cave and improve it's access, always with the advice from geologists and technicians,

CAVE

COVA SANTA is one of the most valuable natural treasures on the Balearic Islands. It's an ancient natural cave comparable to a wonderful natural stone cathedral of stone, carved by water over the years.
Its access is a gap that opens in the mountains leading to the grotto that then leads you to the great cave thats more than 25 meters deep. It then takes you across a stairway that goes down to an incredible and unexpected sight . You can find there a landscape made of stalactites and stalagmites that have created fantastic shapes in a wonderful imaginary world .

RESTAURANT

In the Cova Santa restaurant, the gastronomy is conceived as an art with exquisite service and customer service .
VIP's, celebrities and the most chic people on the planet have sat at the dinner table for a magic dinner at COVA SANTA.
The meats are brought directly from the Peaks of Europe and shellfish are kept alive in own hatcheries.
The winery is located in the natural cave, which is an excellent environment for wine storage. It was created and overseen by the most prestigious winemakers of the island, becoming possibly the best winery in the Balearics.

DISCO

Santa Cova is also a "dance hall" dating from the late 60's, a room that understands the night, music and dance _ .
It's a good way to continue the evening, after dinner and your first drinks, all in one place, enjoying a good environment, good sound ... without having to move .
Renovated and decorated with elegant furniture and fine materials, while respecting the uniqueness of the rural construction of Ibiza, it has an eastern-Mediterranean look that creates a place you can dream of.
The clubs technical staff has been in charge of designing and installing the best sound and lighting for this club.
