In our Bed & Breakfast rest and relaxation come first. Therefore we have consciously decided to be a child-free hotel.

Our charming little hotel Cortijo El Sarmiento lies directly at the foot of the Sierra Cabrera near the idyllic coastal town of Mojácar. By car it is less than ten minutes to the Costa de Almería, the Andalusian Mediterranean coast, known for its picturesque sandy beaches. The surroundings are ideal for both relaxation and activity. With 7 rooms, a pool and a gourmet kitchen, of which the Spanish delicacies will make your heart beat faster, you will find everything at Cortijo to make your holiday the perfect place for relaxation. Enjoy your individual dream holiday with us – far away from package tourism and its big crowds.

In addition to our gourmet kitchen and our wine fridge (which is always well stocked), our cosy eating area with lounge and ‘Honesty bar’ and our comfortable patio with a view of the Sierra Cabrera are an invitation for your palate, heart and stomach to enter into holiday mood. On warm summer days, our pool provides the perfect refreshment in between and on cool days, whilst the typical Spanish wooden fireplace in the lounge ensures some quiet time, we provide you with the necessary reading material: from thriller novels to guidebooks and literature about Andalusia. Free Wi-Fi is also available in the main building. No matter what time of year you visit us, you will make the most of every vacation day with us and get to know Andalusia’s diverse appeal.

Personal, individual and entirely focussed on our guests – that makes the enjoyable holiday in our Cortijo an unforgettable experience. That is why we only have space for a maximum of 10 guests in our cosy guest quarters which are only a few steps away from the main building.

Our Cortijo has 7 rooms at its disposal, each with room for two people, all of which are furnished with a walk-inn shower, a comfortable king-size bed (180 x 200cm) and a safe. Moreover, every guest room has air conditioning and central heating as well as a separate patio. Hairdryers and bath towels for the pool or beach are supplied by us.
