Coopecarn is an international meat supplier ( we already export to 53 countries ) and we are specialized in processing fresh and frozen enhanced (tenderized) & marinated meat products derived from pork, beef and poultry.

Located close to the French Border and at just 90 km from the port of Barcelona, our installations are equipped with the most modern state of the art equipment to ensure the highest quality and safety in our products working in accordance with the following international certifications: BRC A Grade & IFS High Level .

We belong to the Grup Cañigueral, one of the most important Spanish meat producers composed of 3 companies: Embutidos Monter (www.embutidosmonter.es), Frigorificos Costa Brava ( www.fcostabrava.com ) and Coopecarn.

Embutidos Monter is an internal supplier of Mercadona, the biggest Spanish retailer with more than 1.500 local supermarkets

Frigoríficos Costa Brava SA is a leading Spanish pork slaughterhouse & cutting plant ( 12.000 pigs per day ) and one of the big European players in the pork industry which works with the highest quality standards : BRC A grade, IFS High level , USDA approval, etc which is currently exporting to more than 45 countries ( Europe, Asia, USA and Oceania).

Coopecarn products are made from the highest grade pork, beef and poultry meats sourced only from reputable Slaughterhouses that meet all Animal Welfare and International safety standards. Our production plant is perfectly capable of producing a wide range of high quality whole pieces and/or sliced IQF products (natural/enhanced-tenderized/marinated) in precise cuts & calibrated portions.

Our marinating and tenderizing techniques have been mastered to produce the perfect combination between natural texture and maximum tenderness and flavor designed for each specific food sector: industrial, foodservice and retailer.

- Frozen whole pieces range : vacuum packed and labelled 1x1 EAN 13 & EAN 128 barcode (Pork loin boneless, , pork tenderloin, beef striploin, turkey breast, etc).
- IQF Frozen sliced range ( pork chops & steaks, beef steaks, etc ) , calibrated (accurate weight +/- 5%) into fix weight carton cases (bulk, layer packed)
