El nostre taller té una llarga tradició, des de l'any 1700, i ha anat passant de pares a fills fins als nostres dies.
El negre és un dels colors usats per la humanitat des de la prehistòria al costat del vermell. També són els primers a aparèixer al món cromàtic de la ceràmica, trobem rastres de color en períodes com el Neolític o l'Edat del Bronze. El color negre, el vermell, el blanc i la combinació de tots ells forma part de la paleta de colors de la cultura celtibèrica.

Vic i treballo en un petit poble de Catalunya. La tradicional Ceràmica Negra s'ha fabricat en aquesta regió des del segle XIV. La ceràmica negra s'obté al retrocedir l'argila en un forn ple de fum, el resultat és que l'excés de carboni converteix la capa completament negra. En estat brut, sense esmaltar, la peça adquireix una capa i un acabat chamuscat.

• Detalls per a bodes, comunions i batejos.

• Fabricació de cassoles, vols, plats fets a mà o a màquina.

• Encàrrecs de murals i peces a mida.

• Visites al taller: Organitzem activitats per grups (escolars, etc...) on ensenyem el procés de treball i d’elaboració de les diferents tecniques que realitzem, en especial la ceràmica negra.

Nuestro taller tiene una larga tradición, desde el año 1700, y ha ido pasando de padres a hijos hasta nuestros días.

El negro es uno de los colores usados por la humanidad desde la prehistoria junto al rojo de hierro. También son los primeros en aparecer en el mundo cromático de la cerámica; encontramos huellas de color en periodos como el Neolítico o la Edad del Bronce. El color negro, el rojo, el blanco y la combinación de todos ellos forma parte de la paleta de colores de la cultura celtibérica.

Vivo y trabajo en un pequeño pueblo de Cataluña. La tradicional Cerámica Negra se ha fabricado en esta región desde el siglo XIV. La cerámica negra se logra al retroceder la arcilla en un horno lleno de humo, el resultado es que el exceso de carbono convierte la arcilla completamente negra. En su estado crudo, sin esmaltar, la loza adquiere una alfombra y un acabado chamuscado.

Black is one of the colors used by mankind since prehistory along with red iron. They are also the first to appear in the chromatic world of ceramics; we find traces of color in periods such as the Neolithic or the Bronze Age. The color black, red, white and the combination of all of them is part of the palette of colors of the Celtiberian culture.

I lives and works in a small village in Catalonia in Northern Spain. The traditional Ceramica Negra (black ceramics) has been made in this region since the 14th Century. The black pottery is achieved by backing the clay in a smoke-filled oven, the result is that the excess carbon turns the clay completely black. In its raw, unglazed state, the earthenware takes on a mat and charred finish.
