With its breathtaking mountain scenery beautiful beaches and a truly magnificent climate, it's little wonder why the valley of Soller is a favourite destination for so many people from around the world, particularly those who have an interest in nature, ecotourism and those who enjoy walking, hiking, cycling, swimming or simply a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of Mallorca's well known tourist traps.

Ca’n Tres Sol has a unique location as it is at the halfway point between Soller and the mountain village of Fornalutx. Just below the hamlet of Biniaraix. The Biniariax people have a straight choice between the comparative sophistication of Soller and the calm and beautiful mountain life of Fornalutx.
The most popular attraction in the village, aside its stunning orange groves, is the Barranc de Biniaraix, a pathway part of the route to the Monastery of Lluc - one of the most emblematic walks on the island of Mallorca. Barranc de Biniaraix has been used by pilgrims since the 14th Century. The path is also know worldwide as the GR221 and Can’ Tres Sol is situated directly at the start of this particular section.
Walkers have long known about this wonderful place in the valley of Soller surrounded on all sides by the magnificence of the mountains of the Tramuntana.
2 minutes from the house at the start of the lane is the bus stop offering regular services to Fornalutx, Soller and Port de Soller. Alternatively just ten minutes walk from the house and you are in the famous town of Soller. Steeped in history and boasting a good sprinkling of retail therapy, be sure to have coffee and 'people watch' in the beautiful main square, Placa Constitucio and don't miss Soller's Saturday market, perfect for cheeses, hams & other local specialities. If you're spending the day in Soller, don't miss the extravagant modernist Ca'n Prunera Art Museum, Soller Train Station's Picasso and Miro exhibition and Soller's Botanical garden's and Natural History Museum. Finally why not hop on the wooden Soller-Palma Railway Train dating back to 1912 and take in the beautiful landscape of Mallorca on the way over the mountains, arriving in Palma at the Plaza de Espana. Extend your day with a shopping spree and take in even more fantastic sights.
The Soller to Port de Soller tram is known locally as the “Orange Express” and is the only working tramway on the Island.
Vast sandy beaches are a ten minute drive or hop on the ‘Orange Express’ or bus to Port de Soller – perfect for families with buckets & spades or for those just wishing to catch some sun-rays. Catch one of the regular day boat trips from Port de Soller's harbour side to the beautiful cove of Sa Calobra, where a 10 minute walk will take you to the scenic mountain canyon of Torrent de Pareis. The port has a PADI diving centre, boat shops offering fishing gear, tackle and trips as well as a whole host of water sports, pleasure boating and boats for personal hire.
