Can Frare, Felanitx, Majorca.

Can Frare, a three hundred year old stone built farmhouse, has been lovingly restored by the owners, Guy and Sandra Watson. A work of love over a period of twenty five years.

The finca is situated in twelve acres of land with uninterrupted views towards the mount of San Salvador with its monastery precariously perched on its highest point.

Can Frare, located 30 minutes drive away from Palma airport, is set within three small villages, Porreres to the north, Felanitx to the south and Campos to the west. The nearest village is about 3.8 miles away and has restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. The farmhouse is ideally located to explore the beautiful eastern coast of Mallorca. Porto Colom, an unspoiled fishing port is just twenty minutes away, with a good mix of cafes and restaurants.

The four apartments, each having their own personality, are ideally located for exploring the many hidden treasures of Mallorca.

The lively resort of Cala d’Or is only a short drive away as is the beautiful beach of Es Trenc with its famous stretch of 12km of golden sands. Only half an hour’s drive from the cosmopolitan capital city of Palma, with its wonderful shopping, restaurants and historic buildings.

You might find you just want to stay by the pool and soak up the sun, or sip a glass of Cava or three or just relax in the sofa room and read a good book. Later you can cook a juicy steak (there are two excellent butchers in both Felanitx and Porreres) on the two barbecues by the outside kitchen.

The location is most suitable for couples and adults looking for a relaxing holiday away from it all. Bicycles also available.
