BMI Systems Lab

The Brain-Machine Interface Lab is a team of researchers led by José María Azorín. Our work focuses on human-machine interaction through brain control in order to improve human capabilities in neural rehabilitation.

We are part of a larger group called Biomedical Neuroengineering Group whose members are specialized in several disciplines such as medicine, biology, engineering or computer science. The combination of the contribution of all its members makes possible the study of complex interactions between artificial and natural systems. The main goal of the group is helping to improve cognitive and communication skills of people that suffer motor or sensorial disabilities.
