About us:
Arthropology Lab is a small independent NPO (nonprofit organization) founded by professionals of the social sciences, arts and humanities. We contribute to change by providing appropriate, effective and original solutions, which we find at the intersection between the social science’s rigorous research and the critical practice of visual communication.

Research for Change:
We have extensive experience in ethnography and qualitative research in undeveloped and developing contexts. We are committed to rigorous participatory action through social and cultural analysis.

Design Thinking:
We practice design as a problem-solving methodology, helping development organizations to enhance their projects impact anywhere in the planet. Our work extends to the areas of graphic, information, editorial, exhibition, communication and media design.

Social Change Filmmaking:
We think films can trigger social change in unexpected positive ways. We enjoy making documentaries that have a unique role to play in reflecting on the way we live, challenging our ideas and overall, enriching the future experience of mankind.
