Here in Arroás Ecohostel we want to put together our passion for travelling and the respect and enjoyment of nature. This is the reason why we choose to embrace the eco-friendly ideology and support the local trade. All our products, from the free breakfast to cleaning products and the wood used to make our beds are eco as well as we support the local producers, buying straight from them whenever possible, making a more fair, sustainable trade.

The hostel is placed in a perfect location to enjoy the beach, the mild Galician weather and the atmosphere of a typical coastal Villa. Canga´s charming historical center is just barely 15 minutes away in a relaxing trip by boat from Vigo, the biggest city in Galicia. Also, this boats will take you to Cies Islands, a Natural Park that has become one of the biggest touristic spots in the north of Spain. And you can take that boat just two minutes walking from our hostel !

Cangas has the proud record of being the municipality in Europe with the biggest number of beaches and we rent you the bike for you to visit all of them ! )If you dare ! ;) ) and you can also find various walking tracks, biking routes and you can practice windsurf or row a kayak in their beaches ! We will inform you about all this possibilities encouraging an active tourism in contact with the nature.

Getting to Arroás Ecohostel is easy giving the good communications with Vigo and Pontevedra, the main cities in the area. And to make it even easier we have a transfer service from and to Vigo Airport !

En Ecohostel Arroás queremos juntar nuestra pasión por viajar con el respeto y disfrute de la naturaleza. Es por ello que apostamos desde un primer momento por la ecología y el comercio local. Todos los productos, desde el desayuno de cortesía hasta los productos de limpieza y la madera de las camas son ecológicos de la misma forma que apoyamos el producto local, accediendo siempre que sea posible a productores de nuestra zona apoyando un intercambio lo más justo posible.

Todo esto lo encontrarás en un entorno ideal para disfrutar de la playa, el agradable clima gallego y el enclave perfecto para disfrutar de la tranquilidad de una típica villa costera con su encantadora zona monumental a sólo 15 minutos de viaje en barco de la mayor ciudad de Galicia. No sólo estos barcos te llevarán a Vigo, sino que puedes acceder también a las Islas Cíes, Parque Natural que se ha convertido en uno de los mayores puntos de interés turístico en el norte de la Península con salida a escasos dos minutos caminando desde la puerta de nuestro hostel.

Cangas tiene el curioso récord de ser el municipio de Europa con mayor número de playas (te alquilamos la bici para que las visites todas, ¡si es que puedes ¡;), y cuenta además con numerosas rutas para caminar, ir en bici, hacer windsurf, remar en Kayak… Desde Eco-hostel Arroás te informamos sobre todas estas posibilidades fomentando el turismo activo y en contacto con la naturaleza.

Llegar a Ecohostel Arroás es sencillo dada la buena comunicación de Cangas tanto con Vigo como con Pontevedra. Para hacértelo más fácil disponemos de servicio de transfer al aeropuerto de Vigo-Peinador.
