Aries Bar & The Gallipot Restaurant

When we opened Aries Bar in Amarilla Golf in January 2013 we were determined to open a bar and restaurant that provided honest home cooked meals that were value for money and came with a friendly service. We moved from Co. Kildare in Ireland with the intention of opening our own bar and restaurant as we both have a passion for the industry with over 50 years experience between us both in the field. Jenny has worked front of house management in hotels and restaurants and Martin has worked with many top Irish acts in the Entertainment business such as Marmalade, Smokie, The Drifters and Boyzone. We love the social side of our job and with the help of our daughters Shauna and Amy we set out to make sure each of our customers enjoy their experience here in Aries and always receive a warm Irish welcome. True to our Irish nature we not only have a happy hour but a happy time from 12pm to 6pm and include great food offers. We haven’t left our love of the potato at home either and all our delicious chips are home peeled and home cooked. We have loved every minute of running Aries Bar from having the craic and banter with customers to getting up and singing along with the entertainment acts so we hope you come along to our little piece of Ireland in Amarilla Golf.
