INFORMATION REGARDING PAINTING WEEKS in 2015
Paint while discovering the subtropical region “La Axarquia” in the province of Malaga (Andalucia) Spain. What better way by setting aside a week in your dairy to go painting in sunny Spain? This is the ideal combination of painting and holidays, painters of all abilities are welcome as well as non painting partners since the region has a lot to offer.

Artist Angelina and her husband Howard are offering a week guided painting holiday – all techniques – with accommodation and services for beginners and experienced painters in an unique and beautiful environment where temperatures are always very pleasant. Our painting holidays are not only about the beautiful scenery to paint but also to experience the rich culture on offer. For participants interested, the painting week includes an excursion(against a small fee for transport) to the beach, to a natural park and to Malaga. Enjoying and sharing painting experiences will be for ever rewarding.

Guests are welcome to bring their own materials but easels and wooden knee tablets are available. On site, material can be bought against reasonable prices.

LOCATION
Accommodation is foreseen in rural villas near the picturesque typical white Andalucian village “Almachar”. The villa stands in a valley surrounded by vineyards and orange-, lemon-, avocado-, mango-, leeches-, papaya- and other fruit trees.
The coastal town and beach “Torre del Mar” is at 15 km distance and “Nerja” at 25 km. Malaga airport is at 45 minutes by car and Malaga centre at 30 minutes. Granada, known for “El Alhambra”, is at 1.30 hrs distance. Cordoba, known for “La Mezquita”, is at 2 hrs distance.

- single person painting and sharing twin bedroom 650 euro
- two persons sharing double bedroom and both painting 1050 euro
- couple sharing double bedroom but only one person painting 800 euro
Winter rates (1 Dec.-30 March)
- single person painting, sharing twin bedroom 575 euro
- two persons sharing double bedroom and both painting 900 euro
- couple sharing double bedroom but only one person painting 700 euro
