Templa · Taller d'Estudis Medievals

TEMPLA es un taller permanente de estudios medievales constituido por investigadores de universidades, de museos y de archivos de diferentes partes de España y Europa, particularmente de Catalunya. Los miembros de este equipo de trabajo comparten intereses y objetos de estudio desde sus específicos y complementarios ámbitos de especialización.

Los resultados de sus investigaciones y de las interacciones con otros especialistas de diferentes disciplinas quedan reflejados en los resultados de los proyectos de investigación y acciones académicas, en las convocatorias científicas que organizan anualmente y en las publicaciones que resultan de todo ello. Los investigadores de TEMPLA están abiertos a establecer vínculos y colaborar con otros grupos de investigación e instituciones científicas. Este equipo pretende contribuir a incrementer los intercambios entre investigadores plurales. Además, proponemos debates científicos en torno a los programas visuales y la organización espacial en el Medioevo, con especial atención a los condicionantes litúrgicos y los escenarios arquitectónicos, así como reflexiones académicas sobre el estatuto social y académico de la investigación sobre arte y cultura medievales.

TEMPLA tiene su sede en el Institut de Recerca Històrica (Sección SPEPC http://bit.ly/19Ujo6H ) de la Universitat de Girona, independientemente de la plural adscripción académica de sus miembros.

TEMPLA is a permanent workshop of Medieval Studies composed by specialists from universities, museums and archives of different parts of Spain and Europe, particularly from Catalonia. The members of this team share common interests as well as complementary areas of expertise.

The results of its research and interaction with experts of other disciplines are reflected in the outcome of specific research projects and academic activities, as well as in the scientific meetings that are being organized annually and the resulting publications. Templa members are open and willing to collaborate withdifferent research groups and scientific institutions. They aim at facilitating exchange among researchers and proposing scientific debates related to the visual programs and space organization of the Middle Age. Particular attention will be devoted to the liturgical conditionings, architectural scenery, as well as reflecting upon the social and academic status of Middle Age art and culture research.

TEMPLA has its headquarters in the Institut de Recerca Històrica (Section SPEPC http://bit.ly/19Ujo6H ) of the University of Girona, regardless the plural affiliation of its members.
