Santa Catalina Kennels

At Catalina Kennels we have a huge grass paddock as we do not believe in locking up your pet all day long. We have over 2000 square metres of play area where your pet will have fun and play. The area is secured off to create a safe place for your pet while you take some time out time for yourselves as well.
For your pet to stay at our 5 star residence the costs are as follows:
The cost for your pet to reside with us at Catalina Kennels will be
15 Euros per night incuding food.


If our vet has to be called in due to your pet feeling unwell, the total invoice will be billed to you.
Any special requirements you may want or need can be discussed with us.
If you have a puppy and it is under 4 months, special arrangements can be made for your puppy to remain in the Catalina Kennels owners residence. Must remain in the house, not in the Kennels.
It is our pleasure to offer this 5 star service to your little members of your family so you can relax while you take time out for yourself.
Please remember to bring along your dog's passport which will be held by us and returned to you upon collection of your pet.
Also please provide your pets vaccination card up to date.
To provide healthy Kennels we must protect our pet guests and the only way to do this is by individually taking care of our cherished pet by keeping the dog up to date with the vaccines.
At Catalina Kennels we provide a pool for the dogs that love to dip in the pool during the summer months. They get hot too!
At Catalina Kennels we have a vet on call 24 hours so if the need arises a vet will be called out immediately to ensure your pet will have the best care.
Bathing your dog is optional which will be provided at the request of the owner at extra cost.
A special designated Master Kennel has been provided to act as a quarantine area if we feel any dog is unwell.
Please make sure your pet is free of fleas.
We in San Roque at Santa Catalina Kennels have specially dedicated our time and services to open this ideally located Kennels to provide A HOME FROM HOME KENNELS FOR YOUR BELOVED POOCH.
We at Catalina Kennels aim to provide a really happy time. We agree that dogs should not be locked up all day. We aim to provide a free running and play establishment as we have the secure grounds to make this possible.
Our outside area is of 2,000 square metres which is completely landscaped and secured off.
Our pet guests can run freely to play either in small groups or individually.
Meals are prepared in accordance with the owners requirements and there are strict procedures in place for the administering of medication and vitamin supplements,
WE DO NOT ACCEPT DOGS THAT DO NOT HAVE ALL THEIR UP TO DATE VACCINATIONS.

Kennels are cleaned out daily and are thoroughly scrubbed out and disinfected after each occupant leaves.
Feeding bowls are washed and sterilised after each meal and fresh water is provided all the time.
WE ARE PROVIDING COLLECTION OF YOUR PET ON THE SPANISH SIDE OF THE BORDER FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT WANT TO QUEUE UP FOR HOURS JUST BEFORE THEY GO ON THEIR HOLIDAYS. WE WILL ALSO BE DOING DROP OFFS TO THE SPANISH SIDE OF THE BORDER AS WELL.
THIS WE FEEL PROVIDES YOU WITH THE COMFORT THAT YOU WONT HAVE TO QUEUE UP OR DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO DRIVE TO US AT CATALINA KENNELS.

The Kennels are situated in the heart of San Roque only a 5 minute drive from the border.
Our Boarding Kennels are completely brand new and offer a spacious and comfortable accommodation each with its own integral covered run.
All of our pet guests will have their own soft warm bedding.
Owners are welcome to bring along their pets favourite toys or treats if they wish.
Any special needs for your pet such as medicine or a special kind of diet can easily be arrange on instruction.
We are here to make sure that all dogs receive plenty of one to one attention to play and interact to create a stimulating environment which is of most importance especially for pet guests staying with us for a long duration of time.

Dogs dispense friendliness and love freely without question. They have all the power to cheer us and any neglect fills us with great repugnance. They are utterly dependant on us. It is our capacity to make their lives miserable or happy and only the dedicated dog handler can recognise when a dog needs nurturing in a certain way.
Our mission is to ensure that all dogs in our Kennels are treated as if they are one of our own, part of the family, with love and care and attention. It is our goal to ensure that during their stay they continue to feel cherished and nurtured and to be a part of our family.
