Fue el primer restaurante japonés de la isla y uno de los primeros en Europa. Con más de 25 años a sus espaldas, Shogun es sinónimo de elegancia y autenticidad de Oriente; se encuentra situado prácticamente a las puertas de nuestro emblemático e histórico Castillo de Bellver y cerca del frecuentado Paseo Marítimo. Concretando, en C/Camilo José Cela 14, en la localidad de Palma de Mallorca. Observando el emplazamiento se aprecia que en nuestro restaurante podrán disfrutar no sólo de exquisitos platos sino también de un entorno privilegiado.

We have two rooms with a large number of tables to accommodate our customers and we are used to organizing lunches / dinners for big groups.
You can recreate your sight, watching our sushi masters, its pure art ! . Verify that in Shogun, we care to the slightest detail, creating a distinctive environment that have characterized us for many years.
Please note that we also have a Tatami room with capacity for 10-12 people. You can experience the Japanese cuisine in a more intimate and original way as it is located in a separate room. We advise you to make your reservation before hand.

History:
Shogun opened its doors in March 1987,It was a pioneer in this area because during this time, it was not as fashionable as it is today. With over twenty years of courier, it has established Japanese cuisine on the Spanish map and continues to make a difference in this ever growing field.
Its founder and current director is Mr. Sato, a multifaceted entrepreneur who after living in New York and Denmark, and to traveling around the world, fell in love with Mallorca and thought it would be the ideal place to launch his business.
The building was designed by Japanese architect Ogawa Dofu (belonging to the family), following a similar structure to that of a Japanese castle. He also counted with the help of a Mallorquin carpenter who did everything under traditional Japanese designs.
Initially the reception in the island was difficult because here at that time people were not so "open" to new cultures, and of course, to new flavors. After almost 25 years we can say that we have achieved the main goal: to make this special and unique cuisine a permanent settlement in the island.
