Benvinguts al nostre restaurant, esteim a poc més de dos 2km de Lluc (Mallorca), feim cuina mallorquina, plats de temporada i alguns plats de sempre. Disposam d'un establiment molt acollidor, disposam pels mesos d'estiu de més de 300 metres de terraces dins el bosc.

Das Restaurant Es Guix bietet seit mehr als 40 Jahren die beste mallorquinische Küche an. In unserem Restaurant finden Sie die typischen Gerichte der Insel, eine Auswahl von über 60 mallorquinischen Weinen, ökologisches, mallorquinisches Öl und von Hand gemachten Kräuterlikör. Die Mehrheit unserer Produkte stammt aus der Umgebung. Auch unsere Salate und unser Kaffee sind ökologisch. Jeden Monat suchen wir für unsere Kunden die besten Weine Mallorcas und saisonale Gerichte aus. Das gebratene Zicklein, der Reistopf und das Spanferkel, die frittierte Leber mit Gemüse und der Mandelkuchen sind zu Klassikern auf unserer Speisekarte geworden. Es Guix befindet sich in der Nähe von Lluc, im Herzen des Tramuntana-Gebirges, welches zum UNESCO-Weltnaturerbe gehört. Das Restaurant - ein rustikales Haus - mit einem See aus natürlichem Bergwasser davor, liegt inmitten einer idyllischen, grünen Umgebung.
Wie aus einem Märchen, liegt Es Guix in einem Zauberwald, in dem man königliche Delikatessen speisen kann. Die Frische, die dem Gast beim Hinabsteigen der Treppen begegnet, ist ein erstes Anzeichen dafür, dass Es Guix anders ist; dass man sich an der Schwelle zu einem kulinarischen Genuss befindet.
Dieses Märchenrestaurant liegt 2 Km von Lluc, 35 Minuten von Pollensa und 45 Minuten von Palma entfernt, an einem Ort mit Geschichte. Der Es Guix-Sturzbach wurde wie der Steinbruch des Gebietes benannt. Außerdem liegt es in der Nähe vom El Coll de Sa Batalla, Schauplatz von Gefechten zwischen Muslimen und den ersten katalanische Eroberern, die den Anstoß zur endgültigen Eroberung Mallorcas durch König Jaume I. bedeuteten.
Es Guix ist also mit der Geschichte Mallorcas verbunden, nicht nur aufgrund seiner Lage, sondern auch durch die Speisekarte, in der man eine breite Auswahl der traditionellen Küche des Gebiets finden kann.

Majorca Restaurant Guix : between Caimari and the Monastery of Lluc , near Pollensa, there is a mountain path on which travelers, pilgrims or locals can take a remarkable journey. In the old days people arrived by car at Caimari, there began the real journey, which was done on donkey or on foot.
According to Father Rafael, the archivist of Lluc, the Mallorcans who crossed the mountains to reach the monastery of Lluc as pilgrims or for work (collecting olives, charcoal burning, etc.) needed about three hours to reach the Vall de Lluc, if they knew the narrow ravines and the famous mountain passes. La Costa Llarga is the first of these passes, next comes Sa Llengonissa and the third pass is remarkable Alt d'es Guix, at this farm, just one hundred years ago, there was the gypsum quarry from which it takes its name. A hundred metres from here, below the crossroads where the road starts its descent into the valley, is one of the most important restaurants in the Sierra. Surrounded by rock outcrops and almost hidden among oak groves and wild vegetation, is a stone house set in a corner of unmatched beauty.
