Wer sind wir?

Zuerst einmal sind wir La Palma-Begeisterte und leben seit 20 Jahren hier. Begeistert von dem La Palma das sich durch seine Einfachheit, seine wunderbare und vielfältige Natur und durch seine palmerischen Einwohner auszeichnet.

Das Leben hier ist nicht vom Konsum gezeichnet, nicht vom Stress, nicht von Terminen und Uhrzeiten. Man könnte das Wort „Entschleunigung“ benutzen um das tägliche Leben hier zu beschreiben.

Die Menschen begegnen einander freundlich wenn sie freundlich behandelt werden, sind offen, hilfsbereit, nicht konkurrenzorientiert, lieben Gemeinschaft und Familienleben, die Natur und ganz besonders Ihre Insel die sie liebevoll „ Isla Bonita“ nennen.

Ursprünglich aus Ländern kommend die den Konsum und den Wettbewerb voranstellen, möchten wir unseren Kunden ein anderes Leben zeigen, eines das sich durch den Genuss vom unverfälschten purem Leben auf der Insel und Aktivitäten die nicht in Reiseführern zu finden sind. Im Laufe der Zeit hatten wir das Glück hier Menschen kennen zu lernen die mit großer Begeisterung und Können diese Aktivitäten selbst ausüben besser gesagt leben. Wir konnten sie davon überzeugen Ihren „Schatz“ an Sie weiter zu geben.

So entstand „ Puraventura“, das reine unverfälschte Abenteuer.

¿Quiénes somos?
En primer lugar, somos unos aficionados de La Palma. Llevamos más de 20 años viviendo aquí con gran entusiasmo. En particular, nos entusiasman la simplicidad de la isla y la belleza de su variopinta naturaleza, así como el agradable carácter de sus habitantes palmeros. Todas ellas características distintivas de la isla.
La vida aquí no está marcada por el consumismo, el estrés, las citas y las agendas llenas. El término „desaceleración“ podría aplicarse a la vida diaria en La Palma.
Las personas aquí son amables cuando se les trata con la misma actitud. Son abiertas, siempre dispuestas a ayudar y no están motivadas por un espíritu de competencia. Además, muestran un gran amor por la comunidad y la familia, por la naturaleza y sobre todo por su isla, a la que amorosamente llaman “la isla bonita”.
Dado que venimos de países en que el consumismo y el espíritu de competencia determinan el día a día queremos presentar a nuestros clientes una vida completamente distinta marcada por el disfrute de la vida pura que la isla ofrece y de actividades que no se pueden encontrar en ninguna guía turística.
Con el paso del tiempo hemos tenido la suerte de conocer a personas que llevan a cabo estas actividades con gran pasión y conocimiento. Mejor dicho, personas que viven estas actividades. Hemos podido convencerles para que compartan su “tesoro” con Usted.
Es así como se creó „ Puraventura“, la aventura pura y natural.

Who we are

First of all, we are La Palma-lovers who have been living here for over 20 years. This love for the island stems from its simplicity, its wonderful and varied natural landscape and its hospitable local “palmero” population. All characteristics that set it apart from everything else that we know.
Life here is not marked by consumerism, stress, appointments and narrow time-management. One could use the term “deceleration” to describe everyday life here.
People here react in a friendly manner when treated kindly. They are open and helpful. They are not competitive, display a love of community and family as well great respect for nature. In an expression of attachment to their surroundings, they lovingly call their island “la isla bonita”.
Having lived in countries that promote consumerism and competitive attitudes, we strive to introduce our customers to an alternative way of life. One that is marked by the true enjoyment of the genuine, pure lifestyle of the island and of activities that cannot be found in any guidebook.
In the past years, we have had the privilege of meeting people who carry out these activities with great passion and ability. As a matter of fact, they put all their hearts into these activities. And we were able to get them on board in order to share their “treasure” with you.
This is how „ Puraventura“ was founded, the pure and unadulterated adventure.
