Madrigal de las Altas Torres

Madrigal de las Altas Torres is a municipality located in the province of Ávila, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2005 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 1,825 inhabitants. In this village, Isabella I of Castille was born in 1451.Notable people Alonso Tostado (d. 1455) Isabella I of Castile (1451–1504), Queen of Castile Catalina de Balmaseda y San Martín, prioress, was born here in 1543.
