My partner and I came up with the concept for J. L. H from a longstanding and mutual love for all animals. Here in the rural idyll of Marchenilla, 9km from Jimena de la Frontera and set in 3000m2 of land we have devoted our home to provide a safe haven to our animals and felt with our combined experience we were well set to share this paradise with others and provide a valuable resource to other like-minded dog owners. My partner and I have dedicated much time and patience to understanding the nuances of canine behaviour and this has enabled us not only to rehabilitate our own dogs but a number of other dogs and their owners find a better mutual understanding.
Our aim is that by taking on a limited number of guests we are better able to provide that much more detailed care to each individual. Once evaluated for character compatibility we like to make our guest feel included by going out on communal walks in the lovely countryside that surrounds us, trips to the nearby river in the warmer months and playing in our secure Dog Park, we want you not only to be happy to leave them here at J. L. H, but for your dog to want to return.
