Ibiza Light Festival

Ibiza Light Festival es un proyecto cultural producido por artistas lumínicos, video artistas y diseñadores de iluminación que se realizará por segunda vez en la ciudad de Ibiza. Su primera edición fue en el año 2016, causando un gran impacto en los espectadores. Y en el año 2017 se realizará el 13 y 14 de octubre.

Este proyecto consiste en transformar los lugares más emblemáticos de la zona antigua del puerto de Ibiza a través de la iluminación, video, sonido y arte escénico, donde la luz será el elemento principal, creando una atmósfera audiovisual única durante 2 noches.

Es un evento pensado para disfrute de todos los públicos, los visitantes podrán vivir experiencias únicas paseando a lo largo de las entrañables calles de La Marina por donde se irán encontrando dichas obras artísticas. El público también formará parte del espectáculo porque habrá instalaciones interactivas donde se requiera la participación de los asistentes.


La ciudad de Ibiza como patrimonio de la UNESCO cuenta con variedad de monumentos, calles, plazas y fachadas emblemáticas que podrían cobrar vida a través de las nuevas tecnologías de la iluminación, el video, la danza y el teatro, dando un toque de magia a esta maravillosa ciudad.

Ibiza Light Festival is a cultural project produced by companies Improbable Films, Ledhouse and 3D Light to be held for the second time in Ibiza town. Its first edition was in the year 2016, causing a great impact on the spectators. And in 2017 will be on 13 and 14 October.

The project consists of transforming the old Ibiza town most emblematic places through lighting, video, sound and scenic arts, having light as the main element creating a unique atmosphere for two nights.

This event is created for the joy of all kinds of people, visitors will experience this transformation walking through the streets where they will be able to find these artistic pieces. Assistants also will be part of the show as there will be interactive installations where collaboration from visitors will be necessary.

This kind of events is already held at many European cities London, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Berlin or Lyon. In the case of Lyon this festival is been celebrated over a decade and is one of France´s most important open air events with more than 3 million visitors.

In Ibiza Light Festival there is a place for all kind of “Lighting Artists” who want to express this new kind of modern art. We have a big number of collaborators, local, national and international artists want to be part of this event. We also have the support from the Ayuntamiento de Ibiza, Conseill Insular de Eivissa y Formentera, Port Authority and the local Commercial Association.
